This course provides an overview of the fundamentals of church leadership and administration from a Western perspective including leadership history and theories, the character of the leader, and topics such as teams, communication, power, conflict, change, ethics, administration, and mentoring. A conversation about the “fellowship” movement as opposed to traditional “church”; how did COVID further proliferate this movement and what is to come.
Aspects of church management to be explored such as: servant leadership, volunteer management, finances, fundraising, strategic planning, risk management, government regulations and legal issues.
**Case studies will be used to assist participants in applying leadership theory to practice.
