The IIMA New Believer’s and Young Minister’s 6-week Workshop
This six-week discipleship training follows our “Fanning the Flames of Revival” program at the University of Benin.
These workshops are absolutely free and designed to guide new believers, recommitted believers, and young ministers forward in their journey of faith. The course covers the key steps to helping you build a strong foundation for your faith.
Key Features of the New Believer’s Workshop Series
Understanding Your New Identity in Christ
You will be armed with the message of belonging, emphasizing that as a new Christian, you are now part of God’s family. We address common concerns and topics that help you understand God’s unwavering commitment to His children.
Bible Reading Instruction
You will be instructed in various ways to approach Bible study, including suggestions for where to start and how to interpret the scriptures. The New Believer’s Manual emphasizes the Bible’s role as a source of wisdom and guidance.
Guidance in Prayer
Do you have questions about prayer? We discuss various types of prayers - private prayers, communal prayers, and the concept of unceasing prayer, ensuring that new believers feel confident in their communication with God.
Fellowship Opportunities
It is of great significance that you remain connected with and become a part of a Christian community for mutual support, worship, and growth.
Sharing Your Faith
You will get help and support in sharing your faith with others, emphasizing the importance of a lifestyle that reflects Christian values and the readiness to share your own personal testimony.
Graduation Ceremony
Upon completion of all 6 workshop courses online and/or onsite, along with the 6 tests of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion marking this great achievement in your life! You will be awarded at the Completion Ceremony held at the UNIBEN meeting hall. Invite friends and family to help you celebrate this moment!
