International Interfaith Ministerial Alliance
Statement of Faith
The essential biblical doctrines that define our identity, guide our ministry philosophy, govern our fellowship, and shape our witness to the nations.
Preamble
The International Interfaith Ministerial Alliance (IIMA) is a global interdenominational fellowship of ministers, Christian leaders, and Kingdom ambassadors united by a common commitment to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, the authority of the Holy Scriptures, and the advancement of God's Kingdom in the earth.
Established to promote spiritual growth, ministerial excellence, leadership development, Kingdom collaboration, and the unity of the Body of Christ, IIMA serves as a platform for fellowship, mentorship, prayer, missions, and strategic partnerships among ministers and ministries across nations, cultures, and denominations.
Compelled by our vision of bringing the Greater Light to the world, and our mission to equip, empower, and connect ministers for effective Kingdom service, we affirm that the Gospel of Jesus Christ remains the only hope for humanity and the unchanging foundation upon which authentic ministry and lasting transformation are built.
This Statement of Faith embodies the essential biblical doctrines that define our identity, guide our ministry philosophy, govern our fellowship, and shape our witness to the nations. While celebrating the diversity of expressions within the global Church, we remain steadfastly committed to the fundamental truths of the Christian faith and to the historic teachings of Scripture.
Accordingly, the International Interfaith Ministerial Alliance joyfully and solemnly affirms the following articles of faith as the doctrinal foundation of our fellowship, ministry partnerships, leadership formation, and global Kingdom mandate.
Articles of Faith
The Holy Scriptures
We believe that the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority in matters of faith, doctrine, conduct, and ministry.
2 Timothy 3:16–17 · 2 Peter 1:20–21 · Psalm 119:105
The One True God
We believe in one eternal God who exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal, co-eternal, and one in essence and purpose.
Deuteronomy 6:4 · Matthew 28:19 · 2 Corinthians 13:14
The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, and His present ministry as our High Priest and Advocate. We believe He will return personally and visibly in power and glory.
John 1:1–14 · Isaiah 7:14 · 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 · Acts 1:9–11
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, indwells them, empowers them for holy living and effective ministry, and distributes spiritual gifts for the edification of the Church.
John 14:16–17 · Acts 1:8 · 1 Corinthians 12:4–11
Humanity and Sin
We believe that humanity was created in the image of God but fell through sin and rebellion. As a result, all people are separated from God and are in need of salvation through Jesus Christ.
Genesis 1:26–27 · Romans 3:23 · Romans 5:12
Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone and not by human works. Through repentance and faith in Christ, individuals receive forgiveness of sins, justification, regeneration, and eternal life.
John 3:16 · Ephesians 2:8–9 · Romans 10:9–10
The Church
We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, composed of all believers who have been redeemed by His blood. The Church is called to worship God, disciple believers, proclaim the Gospel, demonstrate God's love, and influence society for righteousness.
Matthew 16:18 · Ephesians 1:22–23 · Acts 2:42–47
The Ordinances
We believe in the observance of water baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Christ and in the Lord's Supper as a remembrance of Christ's sacrifice until He returns.
Matthew 28:19–20 · Luke 22:19–20 · Romans 6:3–4
The Gifts and Ministry of the Spirit
We believe that the gifts and manifestations of the Holy Spirit remain operative in the Church today for ministry, evangelism, edification, healing, deliverance, and the advancement of God's Kingdom.
Mark 16:17–18 · 1 Corinthians 12:7–11 · Hebrews 13:8
The Fivefold Ministry
We believe that Christ has given apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip the saints for the work of ministry and to build up the Body of Christ.
Ephesians 4:11–13
Holiness and Christian Living
We believe that believers are called to live lives of holiness, integrity, love, and obedience to God through the enabling power of the Holy Spirit.
1 Peter 1:15–16 · Romans 12:1–2 · Galatians 5:22–23
Divine Healing
We believe that healing is provided through the redemptive work of Christ and that God continues to heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually according to His sovereign will.
Isaiah 53:5 · James 5:14–16 · Matthew 8:16–17
The Great Commission
We believe that every believer and minister is called to participate in the Great Commission by preaching the Gospel, making disciples of all nations, and demonstrating the love and power of God to the world.
Matthew 28:18–20 · Mark 16:15 · Acts 1:8
Unity in the Body of Christ
We believe in the unity of all believers in Jesus Christ regardless of denomination, nationality, ethnicity, or culture, while maintaining fidelity to the essential doctrines of the Christian faith. We promote cooperation, mutual respect, and Kingdom collaboration among ministers and ministries.
John 17:20–23 · Ephesians 4:3–6 · Psalm 133:1
The Return of Christ and Eternal Judgment
We believe in the personal, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, the final judgment, and the eternal destinies of both the saved and the lost.
1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 · Revelation 20:11–15 · John 5:28–29
Declaration
The International Interfaith Ministerial Alliance affirms these foundational truths as the basis of its fellowship, ministry partnerships, leadership development, and global mission endeavors. Members and affiliated ministers are expected to uphold these biblical convictions while demonstrating Christ-like love, humility, and integrity in ministry and service.
